Cátia Comini, a dynamic and visionary interior designer, embarked on her journey in the design world with a BA Hons degree in Interior Design from London. She further honed her expertise with a Master's in Interior Architecture at the University of Westminster, London, and expanded her creative horizons through an extension course in Product Design at Chelsea College of Arts.
Her professional trajectory is marked by significant experiences with renowned interior design studios in London, where she cultivated a deep understanding and passion for high-end residential and commercial interior design. These formative years laid the foundation for her to open her own bespoke Interior Design studio in London, followed by another in Madeira, showcasing her global appeal and versatile design ethos.
Her expertise is comprehensive, blending a rich reservoir of knowledge with an unbridled passion for design. Cátia's work is not just about creating spaces; it's about bringing to life environments that reflect the unique stories and personalities of her clients, all while pushing the boundaries of conventional design.
In the early stages of consultation, we invest time in understanding our client's vision for the property, including their personal aesthetics and lifestyle preferences.
Our approach involves an in-depth analysis through on-site visits or by reviewing floor plans and photographs. This helps us to comprehensively grasp the project's scope, considering crucial aspects like timeline, budget constraints, and any specific structural needs.
Once we have a comprehensive brief, our team will showcase the initial bespoke Interior Design concepts. These include detailed floor plans and elevations to demonstrate the envisaged furniture arrangements and any necessary structural modifications.
Additionally, we provide mood board presentations that feature a variety of finish samples, along with high quality 3D images to provide our clients with a good visualization of their space.
Following the approval of the concept designs, we move forward to the Tendering phase. This stage involves gathering a variety of quotations from suppliers on all aspects of the building work; bespoke furniture, joinery, overall finishes and all sanitaryware.
Additionally, a comprehensive itemized cost breakdown is provided, ensuring transparency and client awareness of all aspects of the project.
