Cátia Interiors proudly announces the completion of an exquisite commercial project: a jewelry store located near the prestigious Savoy Hotel in Funchal. This project was not just a design endeavor but a race against time and budget constraints, showcasing our ability to deliver exceptional results under pressure.

Initially, the client approached us with an existing project plan from another firm, with which they were dissatisfied. Understanding the urgency, our team sprang into action, developing a completely new proposal within just five days. This proposal immediately resonated with the client, marking the beginning of a transformative journey for the store.

Being brought on board late in the process posed its own set of challenges, particularly with the ongoing construction work. A significant hurdle was the lighting scheme, which was initially aligned with the previous firm’s design and not our fresh vision. It required additional time and meticulous planning to realign and adjust all technical aspects to fit our new design proposal.

Despite these challenges, the result was a breathtaking commercial space that captivated everyone with its “wow” factor. The store features a striking black marble wall and till area, creating a luxurious and sophisticated ambiance. This opulence is balanced by the warmth and charm of the herringbone floor and wall finishes, welcoming customers into an elegant yet comfortable environment.

A unique aspect of this project was the blend of Cátia’s visionary design with the client's available resources. Leveraging the client's laser cutter, primarily used for creating jewelry, we innovatively used it to produce intricate design elements that adorned the store walls. This collaboration not only added a distinctive flair to the store but also demonstrated our ability to creatively use client resources in the design process.

This jewelry store project stands as a testament to Cátia Interiors’ skill in balancing aesthetic vision, budget constraints, and tight timelines, all while creating a commercial space that leaves a lasting impression of elegance and innovation.
